Its 1 week before the LAN and alot of games and Windows have had patches in the last few weeks. Please try an update steam, games, windows, scan for viruses etc before coming to the LAN. It will make your life easier, and also help to not put a strain on the internet connection with a bunch of PC's trying to patch steam etc. Your network staff and other attendee's Thank you!
