Title: SYX LAN - Today and Saturday
Post by: evildoer on November 11, 2011, 06:06:13 PM
If anyone needs anything to do, or a warm up, we're hosting a LAN at my factory this weekend.  We decided to invite the public.  We'll be here until at least 11:59PM Saturday.

Probably mostly older games.. network isn't currently set up for a lot of online gaming, so LAN mostly (the outbound on the connection we set up for the LAN party is a T1)

Anyway:

If you're interested reply to this post or call 937-524-1127.

We're at the enterance on the far right side of the building if you're facing it.

We're at 6990 US Route 36, Fletcher Ohio, 45326.  About 15 minutes from Troy.  (East of Piqua, on 36)  We're the gigantic white building in the middle of a cornfield.

How many of you all have MW3?   I can talk to the guys planning on coming to the store Saturday an have them come up there, then we can run / test the MW3 server up there that we planned to do Saturday at the store.

Tons of room!  We're going all night.  LAN party won't stop.  You can sleep in our facility if you like.

We're in a large room.  Can easily handle a decent group.  I have at least 10 heavy duty folding tables still folded up, and can expand the network.

Not a lot of people with MW3, but that doesn't mean much.

I also want to correct myself, we're on 6 T1 connections.

To give you an idea of the room available..

We have two projectors for movies set up, a room just for dining, a mens and womens restroom.. and the main area is in the pic below!

Lower right hand corner are all of the tables left to be used.

Wish I could of made it out. Was busy testing out and writing about the i7-3960X all weekend. I drive by that building every time I'm visiting family.

Thanks for the invite.  Sorry I missed it.  We had to get the server for MW3 ready for this coming weekend's LAN and there was the weekend beta release for Star Wars that I got hooked on.  What games did you all end up playing?  Absolutely let us know when you do this again, I am sure some of us would definately come.

I'm sure we'll have another one  ;D

I'll tell you right now that if I do a public LAN at my facility.. sign up immediately.

I won't do it unless I have serious help from my friends at Intel, Nvidia, and Microsoft.  Not that I won't ask others for some help.
