Normal plant would be random teams 5v5  

Deathmatch would be random teams 5v5

Gun Game would be all against each other 1 winner.

On Deathmatch there is also just one winner. The teams would still be randomized on each side mode because I think you can't set free for all ( not sure I can make it free for all by turning on friendly fire).

There may be a team deathmatch mod, however it doesn't look like it is standard.

Depending on what mode wins here, we can test out on this upcoming mini-lan.

is that a game mode or map?  From what I see its a map.   The gamemodes listed were given to my by the tournament admin Cheatch.   I don't play CS so honestly I cant comment 1 way or the other.

its a map and a game type.  The gravity is lowered and you only have a scout and a knife.  It's incredibly addictive, and takes more precision than spraying with a smg or assault rifle :) maybe a vote for it to be on the poll ^.^

We can't add it now as the poll is almost over an would have to start it from scratch an not enough time for that now.   Maybe at NL 12.

There will be I think Code with a CS server and all kinda game modes running all weekend long.

Gun Game's fun but it's not really a competitive mode imo.

Tournaments are supposed to be at the core fun.  That is why we run votes so people can vote what they feel is the most fun to play etc.   Voting runs till Friday night.  Right now its close between Plant and Gun Game.

Just shows that it is important to vote for what you want to play in a tournament.   I for one expected plant to win hands down with lot more votes over the other 2 options.    With how vocal the CS players are I really expected to see more votes put in as well.

Are there prizes for winning tournament games? If there are I would expect at least a little competitiveness. Gun Game isn't really a mode that encourages strategic competitive play.

I figured tournaments would be more geared toward competitive play while there would be plenty of time for for-fun free play outside of the tournaments. At least that's been my experience with other LANs. In tournaments, you play to win, right? Isn't that the whole point of a tournament? To find the best player? I mean obviously you're gonna have fun either way, but I wouldn't expect anyone to be goofing off and experimenting with suicidal strategies in tournament play.
