What happened to the non-electronic games we used to play. I think there was a large gathering for Rock-Paper-Scissors, why not bring back the mouse toss, the keyboard throw, the PC speed build, the bawls chugging, duct-tape building, lego sculpture, something non-PC related to get people out of their seats and engaged face to face?
I'm not sure what the staff feels like trying to pull off, but my suggestion is something non-PC related, whatever you feel you can pull off and find a sponsor for.

The Tournaments were fun this time around, but i miss getting a little physical and doing something together.

Good suggestion will bring it up before event.

The only thing would be potential liability with the bawls chugging or any chugging related contest. Same goes for eating contests  as well. Too much of a risk for something to go wrong imo.

PC Speed build - would be good.
Duct tape build - would be good.

How about a paper airplane content for distance. See who can build the best airplane?

I would totally be good with some non PC contests to get everyone involved.

Would it be possible to split the MOBA and RTS games into 2 separate tournaments? I love both genre's and it sucks having to pick just one every year.

Stronghold HD is on Steam for like, 6 bucks and makes for a decent old school option.

Also would be really cool to have a Minecraft survival challenge. Something like the first person/team to accomplish a certain objective in survival mode on a private server wins. Not sure what the best win condition would be though. Killing the Ender Dragon comes to mind, though this typically takes several hours and I'm thinking we're looking for something that can be done in about an hour or less. First person to find a diamond seems trivial and not much fun. I'm thinking something in the Nether would be a happy medium, like the first person to destroy a blaze camp. Or perhaps something that doesn't require getting a diamond at all would be more fair, like hitting a certain level. Would anyone else be interested in something like this?

Unreal tournament 3, red alert 3, star craft 2, battlefield 4,

I think something outside of the typical "build this to be judged" would be awesome.



Also I'd like to add Civ5
and Sins of a solar Empire to the list of RTS

Lengthy games but still fun none the less, and could be played as an All in, last man standing type of mode.

I would love to see some great pvp maps.

The Walls 2. The map is divided into four sections. Teams will have 20 minutes to build/craft/etc before the sand walls fall, allowing access to kill other teams.

A hunger games style map would also work great, especially if there are a lot of participants! Theres a few variations of these maps out there,

These games can be really fun.

It could be easily setup with the right bukkit plugins to control the rules and track players.
