Anyone going to MML7 this year?

The dates are July 3-6 over July 4th weekend.   I am not sure I can get away with it being over a holiday weekend like this.   Thinking I might try and head out LATE Friday night and go down for Saturday and Sunday though.

Where is it?

MML is located in Louisville Kentucky

Yeah I am kinda in the same issue... It is over Forth of July weekend so I am not sure I can make it.  But I would like to go so if plans change we are going to try to go.

I already know that even though I would like to go, I can't. Shan and I plan on going to the Fraze Summerfest that Sat, and it is a all day event. Can't believe they are doing it on 4th of July weekend though. Wierd.

Might of been the only time they could get the Venue.  Who knows?  But yeah, a really bad weekend for a lan event.

I could go.  Michelle will most likely be working over the holiday days anyway.  But yeah, I agree that they should not have done it over a holiday time frame.  But then again, there is the Six Flags right next door also, I bet they have some kind of fireworks displays going on.

Worth thinking about.

Its at the college this year not at the convention center dunno how close the 2 are to each other.

Ah well, that kinda sucks.

The fact that it is at a college means the venu might be "better".  Last years definitely sucked.

I would love to goto one, but I have other 'party' plans for the 4th.

Looks like alot of the LANOhio folks might be going.  It may behouve us to rethink and join up with them again this year.  It was pretty fun last year having our northern comrades there, and even with the R2 Unit.

Who all is definately a go on this?

Yeah, MML is one of those that is fun. However, because it falls on the July 4th weekend, I wonder how many people will actually show cause of family stuff and things like that.

I was thinking of doing the normal 4th things on Friday then heading out that night and go for Sat/Sunday to MML.

My team and I were going to head down for TF2, but I haven't been able to get any word from them.

I'm undecided at the moment, and yes- they're news stated that they admit its a bad weekend (as a lot of teams have an MLG tourney that weekend) but it was venue availability.

Are you going down for the whole time or just for the TF2 tourney?

It's a no go for me at this point.  My team couldn't pull a full roster so we've decided not to go, I think.  I've went ahead and made other plans.

I think Ive decided not to go to this one as the turnout will be affected by the whole July 4th weekend. Also hoping to find a July 4th party and have fun. I think I will plan on the next one.

Yeah we are going to a Party on the 4th so were not going down.  I agree, they will probably regret this with a low turnout.  How silly to have such a large event on a holiday weekend.

Probably good chance of winning stuff though :)

Yep. Definately not going. Would like to, but can't. Wish they would have done it on another weekend though.
