NeXus LAN

Hello NeXus LAN,

NeXus LAN 20 is this weekend!  3 days of events kicks off tomorrow at 6pm at the Miamisburg Moose Lodge.

We wanted to send out a message with event details, schedules etc.

Things to remember and things to not bring -

Make sure you have all your power cables, at least a 25' network cable, mouse, keyboard, headphones, re-install DVD's just incase, monitor.  You may bring your own chair.   Only 1 PC/Console per table.  If you bring both you may only have 1 turned on at a time.  Good attitudes!!!

Do not bring speakers, UPS units, coolers, food (the moose sells drinks and food so please no carry in, if you go out to eat please eat at the restaurant), any kind of weapons, alcohol, monitors over 32", coffee makers, toasters, microwave ovens, bad attitudes,  etc.

Friday

6 pm - 12 AM 1st NeXus LAN Pre-Party at the Moose.  Sponsored by The Game Haven


Saturday

11 am - Doors Open

2 pm - CS:Go  (+)

5 pm - Raffle

7 pm - Overwatch (+)

12 am - Rocket League (+)

12 am - Bucket sales end at bar.

12:30 am - LAST CALL for orders from Bar

12:45 am - Staff begin pulling all alcohol glasses / bottles from event.  All alcohol must be pulled / consumed by 12:55 am

3 am - 9 am - Quiet gaming time / Sleep time, doors to venue are locked down.   NO and we mean NO equipment / Hardware may leave the venue from the hours of 2 am -  9 am.  See the updated quiet time policy to be posted soon.



Sunday

9 am - Doors to venue re-open

10 am - League of Legends Tournament (+)

1 pm - Raffle

2 pm - Call of Duty 4 Tournament (+)

(+) Note - Tournament signups will be locked down 1 hour before the posted start time.   There will be a player / team meeting 15 minutes before the scheduled tournament start time.   If anyone signed up for the tournament does not show up for the meeting they will be dropped from the tournament.    Tournament titles will be announced at end of voting.  Schedule will be updated at that time.

NOTE - There is no smoking of any kind inside the Moose Lodge, this includes vaping.   There is a very very nice patio for smokers.   Please only smoke on the patio or INSIDE your car but not out in the open parking lot.
