Nothing like a DnD outfit of your character required.
We could do like the Monty Python's Quest for the Holy Grail, part II?
There's a park nearby P3, I presume?
Who's got the Holy Hand-grenade?

Please note that this clarification is in order for all attending NexusLAN 11.

We are all sorta guests at the Lodge, with exception to actual L.O.O.M. or W.O.T.M. members.
The only Lodge general rule that appears to be the problem is being misunderstood.
The Lodge only reserves the rights of "NO FOOD" carried in during operating hours of the kitchen. This applies to ALL members and guests.
This rule applies to help defray costs of operation of the Lodge by selling food through volunteers. So, in a nutshell, it's just respect of our Lodge and membership.
The Lodge is offering special pricing to our LAN on pizzas and other "member only" privileges.

The kitchen's general operating hours on Saturday are 5:30p to 9:00p. During this time, the Lodge expects respect of that rule of no carry-in food.
After the hour of 9:00p, it is open season to order and bring in outside food. This is not a problem with the lodge.
There is Lodge intent to continue to provide such extras during the evening in the way of hotdogs and/or chili-dogs with chips.
But, this will not engage the carry-in rule, because the kitchen is closed.
We are in the works of getting a breakfast deal also. So if this occurs, those Sunday morning hours are also no Carry-in ruled.

There is ABSOLUTELY no carry-in alcoholic beverages allowed at any time.
The Lodge will lose their license if this occurs and is detected by officials.
Again, ABSOLUTELY no carry-in alcoholic beverages are permitted at any time.

If you would like to obtain a mixed-drink or beer, it can be provided by the Lodge, at membership prices, through any L.O.O.M. or W.O.T.M. member.

I hope this clears up any questions that have arisen to the No carry-in food rule.
Refreshment drinks can be brought in but we reserve the right to refuse large coolers.
It's a Fire-Code violation to block intended escape aisles for emergency purposes. Large coolers may pose this problem.

Renegade, DarkEgo and myself are on top of providing the best we can get, to start this new site event without any hitches.
The soda and candy prices are from on site vending machines and not controlled by our Staff.

Thank-you for your time and understanding.
I hope all enjoy this event and many more to come.

It looks different, but I agree, it does not give that effect that jumps out at you.
But, in the process, Thanks Action, ...  for all your hard work on this  Smiley

I like the larger " x ". Can you maybe change the font to like a script X. Our like a handwritten X? Or even like a red X

This may seem premature to announce, but I couldn't hold it back any longer!

I have two items to post:

  1) I have started to collect and store; frozen pork shoulders, and frozen turkeys.

Wait for it, .................. Wait for it! ................... Yes Cyph, ....... wait .............

  2) I have been given the blessings and graces by the current #1645 L.O.O.M. Governor to use the Lodge for our 2nd Annual "Smoked Pulled Pork/Turkey" LAN event for the U.S. Marine Corp TOYS FOR TOTS collection.

Obviously it needs to be approved by the Nexus Staff, but I feel compelled to say it has a great possibility to pass!
The 1st annual event was extremely successful by the efforts put forth by Renegade, Boon, DarkEgo, myself  and the other staff members that got contributions and/or participated.
To all, I am thankful and proud to be a part of that group.
I am anxiously looking forward to continual annual events just before Christmas, to help the less fortunate children acquire some form of joy from our dedicated Marine Troops, and our support thereof.

Interesting as to what they are really doing for the money we are paying them?

Yes, you are hearing it, WarZ has been removed from Steam and refunds are being distributed.
According to the results of allegations of ripping zombies from other games by the developers, ... we have been DUPED!
It's all over the internet!

Wonder if Serg is feeling like an apocolypse is beginning to fall upon him?

Wonder if he can survive his own game now?
134  NeXus LAN - Gaming Discussion Forums / PC General Discussion / Re: Interesting View on Gaming - Misogyny, Racism, Bigotry on: December 08, 2012, 02:32:28 PM
I got to this part of the writing and stopped: "which reflects obvious stereotypes about African-American athleticism." ...... Whining!, ..... I am done reading this article. Whining needs to stop, it promotes action. Action you more than likely do not want.

Racism exists because the American governments and the media support and want it that way.

Anyone born in England is "British". There are no ... African-British, African-English, ... no African-German, African-Africans!

But, here in "Kiss their Arses" America, the government gives them degenerating titles and they keep accepting them. ( colored, black, Negro, and now African )

If you are born in the United States of America, then you are a citizen of that country, an American. < note the period?      Not born halfway between, thus a hyphenated title African - American.

I am from Irish background, you gonna try and give me that title? Yes, I am very proud of my Irish descendant line, but I was born here in America and I choose that specific title. AMERICAN.

I accept anyone born in this country as a fellow American, nothing less, nothing more. I treat "all" with the same kindness. I trust all people unless they give me a reason not. I hope you do the same.

When people accept who they are instead of what they are, this will cease. We are all on this big blue ball for a once in a life trip. Enjoy it, together.
