Hey,

Not sure if anyone is aware but Tribes 2 is free. I did not play much when it came out, only the demo. Of course Sierra no longer runs servers for online play but I found a site that is supporting it @ www.tribesnext.com/

You can get the full game and the patch in the "Downloads" section.

If you want to play online:

  • To create an account launch the game after installing their patch
  • Follow instructions to generate an account key and you're set

Tribes 2 really killed the Tribes franchise.   Tribes 1 was so much better IMO.

Tribes was such an awesome game.  I wish someone would come out with a new shooter just like it.  I love COD style FPS, but I grew up with Tribes CTF and that blue disc thrower gun was the shit.

I loved the Tribes series even Tribes: Vengeance.  Always felt it was a shame I could not get anybody to play in a LAN environment.
