Modern Warfare 3 Has LAN Support

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will support LAN play, as Robert Bowling tweets: "Yes, #MW3 has LAN along with detailed class restriction control + default class creation option," later detailing those restriction options in this tweet: "Ability to restrict any weapon, equipment, perk, deathstreak, secondary, attachment, ANYTHING from being used when setting up game." Hmm will BF3 support LAN play? This makes things a bit more interesting.

That is good news, and I have heard BF3 won't have LAN support at launch.  I am glad to hear this because it may put pressure on EA to come out with LAN options a little sooner.

I probably will not buy MW3 if BF3 releases LAN support.  I know I am not alone in the PC community on that decision.

I'll end up buying them both.  Really looking forward to BF3 but if MW3 will support LANs they will get my purchase.

I agree with Action, if MW3 does in deed have LAN support and it appears it will then I will get both.   Heck if Mw3 has lan and bf3 does not by the time of the Nov Lan I can see us doing an MW3 tournament.
