I was not really familiar with them before now, but what I see, I like.  I would love to have a 3 monitor side-by-side system.  Although, a recent trip to the doctor's office I saw their system on wall mounts as well.  Very nice stuff.  Thank you Ergotron for being a sponsor.

We just recieved Ergotron's LX3 desktop monitor mount (pictured below) for the raffle!  This unit can be a 2 monitor or a 3 monitor setup!

I setup the unit they sent, and I must say this is a VERY sturdy constructed mount.   I am impressed with it!

Thank you Ergotron.

What's the size and weight limit for that stand?

From the ergotron website -

"Note the minimum and maximum weight requirements for this product: Weight of displays in total must be at least 24 lbs (10.9 kg) and no more than 48 lbs (22 kg)."

Does not list a size so I assume any size that keeps in those weights.

The picture doesn't quite do the item justice.  I saw it tonight and I was impressed.  Very nice unit, well made and I would look forward to seeing someone triple up on the monitors and see it in action.

Found it. ≤ 21" (3) or 24"–30" (2)
If you don't mind using 21" or under, it's pretty cool looking. I wonder how easy it is to detach the screens? Going to a LAN makes that a necessity. Maybe they need a "gamer" version that allows for easy removal and bigger screens.

The screens come off REALLY easy.   The mounts go on the screen then you just loosen them and slide them off the rail.   I could put an LCD on or off in like 1 minute or less per screen.

Yeah, they are attached with some really cool clamps.  You screw in the plate to the back of the monitor and then clamp on.  Easy Peasy.  So it makes it better to adjust your positioning as well.

Feel free to pawn it off on me if you win it.   Grin

Nice! Now if they can get a model that holds bigger screens, I'd look into it over my homebrew stand.

So I was in Kettering hospital yesterday for an outpatient surgical procedure (kidneys) and I saw Ergotron all over the place there.  Apparently they do a ton of stuff for hospitals.  Well, at least Kettering Hospital.
