So what are people thinking about Rage?
I know that its meant to be a solo / coop game like Borderlands.
The multi player in it is a side game of car battles with weapons not an FPS multi game.
Over all game looks like a combination of Borderlands and Fallout 3, with the ID Doom/Quake touch.

I have not played it just watched ALOT of video on it. I did already buy it so here's hoping I dont get hosed on another pre-order game.

I smell console port which is why I did not pre-order it. But if it turns out to be as good as Borderlands is on the PC, I may grab it after release.

I would hope not as its from ID and Bethesda 2 of the most out spoken companies for the PC. And it was supposed to be built ground up on the PC then ported to the consoles.
But yeah we will see.

From what I have read the past year or two Id is big on consoles and portables. Many speculate they are leaving the PC behind. I see it as a way to expand into new revenue streams. Maybe they will, maybe they won't abandon the PC. Only Id knows.

I have been playing the solo alot and really like it. There is coop and multi player that is all in cars which looks fun as well.
The coop is completly different missions then the solo, kinda like how portal 2 was with a solo game and then different lvls etc for coop.
Anyone that gets it let me know I will run the coop with you!
The only real issue I had was with the textures being unloaded when you cant see an area an if you spin fast you will see them go from low to high texture poping up on screen. In the latest patch they fixed that by adding a texture cache setting kick it to medium or high an that issue goes away.
Great looking game, story good so far. Kinda a borderlands meets fallout 3 game.
For once a pre ordered game I bought didnt just completly suck!

I'll grab it when the price drops. Sixty bucks is too much given that I have a few pre-orders lined up.
