Why would they limit it to 5 classes when with the Diablo 2 expansion there were 7 classes....Barbarian, Necromancer, Sorceress, Paladin, Amazon, Assassin and Druid.

Seems like they would stick to the 7 total.  And the guy doing the Q&A said several so I assumed 7.

She's only saying that because we started back up playing again and I am playing the Necromancer.  But that may change soon anyway.

If I were to make a guess the other 3 are Sorc, Pally and a bowman/woman (Was going to say amazon but there is going to be both male and female for each class).

Based on how this reads.

"Exciting new classes like the witch doctor bring new gameplay options to the table. Returning classes, like the barbarian, have been completely redone with new skills to give them a feel unique to Diablo III."

The key word being CLASSES.

I suspect we will see 1 more NEW class and 2 more returning ones.

Could be wrong but thats my theory.
