NeXus LAN 13 FPS Tournament Voting

The top voted game will be the FPS Tournament
There will be 4 tournaments at NL 13, 2 attendee voted, and 2 staff picked.

Based on what we were told it requires everyone to be a high level to be competitive and play against each other and based on research, we found there was no way to even things out. If we're wrong and you can provide a link that states otherwise definitely let us know.

LAN was announced at the last LAN an has been on the forums news for months.
We posted to FB many times about suggestions as well.

We didn't put Hawken in because we could not find anyway to add people high lvl with people that have not played the game before or lower lvl. Each time we tried to join it would say lvls too far apart you can't join that game.

Titanfall will be out yes, but only 6 weeks before the LAN. We didn't want to plan a tournament for an un-tested game by our Tournament admins. You can not rent Titanfall servers etc so we have no clue how getting everyone into a cloud server etc for a tournament.
We didn't just put up a list willy nilly. We did go over each item before making the list, and went over suggestions etc.
There is always the possibility that if Titanfall is valid for a tournament it could be a staff pick.

What do you mean? We put in the normal things that are in there each time, and put in the games people asked about.
They only 2 we didn't were Titanfall and Hawken both of which a lot of us play (Hawken and wanted in), and bought Titanfall.
As I said before there is a big limitation to a Hawken tournament that we didn't see a way around.
And Titanfall there are too many unknowns to the admins at this time to put it on the list.
If titanfall is viable it might be a staff pick and or will be for sure on the fall NeXus voting list.

Just being silly man  After reading what all you wrote you're right about the lack of lan etc so its definately too early to tell how/if it could even work. Yea I only got to play the beta a few hours before they took it down, so yea the whole "wheres titanfall" is just kind of a kneejerk reaction on my part. |

Did you try making a private lobby and having everyone you want on your friends list...It's as simple as that. |

We tried making a game and when I tried to join (noob lvl 1) to Venus high lvl it said cant join lvl too high something like that.
