I wanted to share with my fellow LAN partiers what I have been up to for most of this year. In February I quit my job as an electrical engineering technician at an aluminium rolling and recycling mill (really dangerous place to work).
I applied for a "software installer" job I found (but thought was too good to be true) on yahoo. The company is called Hyland Software. We have a wikipedia page.

So far it has been an incredable place to work. I have been telling most of my friends that it is the google of Cleveland. I found a great youtube video of what the place is like. It is actually a South American (in spanish) news story about the company, but I like it because it shows a great view of our work hard play hard environment.

The title really is not important to me, but what I do is. At this time I get paid to travel extensively(I am writing this from the west coast), build incredable computer/scanning systems, install the software (called OnBase), and train the end users. I am loving it! My current specialty is hospitals. The work is very challenging and the projects sometimes very difficult. Because I am doing what I love to do (get my geek on with technology) I find it rewarding.
