Since this will be the 2nd time we'll be at this location, could someone from the staff put together some good instructions on what clean up means?
Example:
1 - Place all extension cords in brown totes at front of LAN
2 - Place all swtiches in Blue totes
3 - Leave all tables set up, but move to 10 rows of 3 tables on right side of building
4 - ensure 3 chairs per side of every table, all other chairs go on racks.
.
.
.

Just because it seems that Staff is always busy doing other things, besides telling everyone standing around what to do in order to get cleaned up pretty quickly. No matter what LAN i go to, there are always people standing around waiting to be instructed what to do. IF we all work together, the sooner we can get our prizes and get home. I have about a 2 hour drive, so moving the end time back, just means i'm going to get home later.  Cheesy  I'm happy to be able to game some more, just think that teardown can go really smooth if we all work together.

Plus it's nice for us to help tear down as there were only 5-10 people who set that all up for us!

Pretty much it's -

Pack up PC's
Take down switches
take down power runs
put power cords on spools and into bin
put power strips into bin
take down network cable coil up but not tight and put in bin.
take out trash / pick up trash.
Put back anything we moved.
Put tables back in order that Ray from the FOP says they need to go.

Have raffle

Go home

I am sure I am missing things but thats the gist.

Tear down will start at 4 yes

Since tear down is such a touchy subject, can you make sure to make plenty of announcements. Typicaly that's LOL end game time and when the internet goes out, it can be pretty frustrating... When you start a game of LOL at 2:30, you don't ever anticipate it going for more than an hour or even an hour and half, but it's happened several times to my group that it spills into clean up time and things get disconnected then a game that usuallyonly takes an hour takes more than that and we look like the bad guys not planning our time out...

Thanks!
