Hey everyone Iam looking at labtops what type of labtop should I get. alienware or gateway fx

I recommend the Gateway FX.  Not just because I own one of the first models but that it is still the best bang for the buck.

Two main reason:

1) For the same power an Alienware will cost much more

2) You can pick one up at Best Buy without mail ordering -- to the best of my knowledge to get an Alienware notebook you still have to mail order it.

You can get the FX right now for $1150 at Best Buy.  It is a 2.2ghz machine with a 9800gt 1mb video card.  Definitely enough power for all of todays games.  In fact I thought about upgrading but I want one with the 1920x1080 LCD.
