What is the longest any one game has lasted?

Many years ago (it must have been about 10 year ago), we had a TA (Total Annihilation) game last 48 hours.  I still remember how it went down too. LOL!

I've played 10 hour starcraft games, but nothing compared to 48hrs lol.

I was asking about the longest multi-player game, but I suppose that could apply to a single player or mmorpg.  The TA game we played, we actually fell asleep and woke back up and finished the game, so while it actually was ongoing for 24 hours and the game was going 24 hours non-stop, we did not actively play it the entire 24 hours.  I woke up to something like 48 nukes queued up and ready to shoot off at the enemy. LOL.

I think the longest game I have ever was about 8 to 10 hour game of risk.

Risk can definitely take awhile to finish, especially when someone holes up in a country with max units on the line.

I just played a 9hr 19 minute game of civilization 4 a few days ago but im sure it could have been longer.
