I think it would be best to keep it simple for now and have a normal game on Summoners Rift.
I haven't played the new mode yet but it seems like a tf2 type where you capture points.
There's also game balance issues with the new mode, perhaps next nexus lan when it's more balanced? That's also implying this LoL tournament runs smoothly.
I might actually be interested going to this, last time I went to one of your lan's you had some retarded rule that you couldn't stay the night to game. Is that fixed now?
Cool, if you don't mind running a gun game mod on it, I wouldn't mind running a gun game tourney.
On the tourney I like to set to 2 kills per level, non-deathmatch. Then setup the rounds so only the top half will advanced to the next round till down to 4 and declare the tourney winner from that game. So for example, if there is 11 people on the first round, then on the 2nd round take the top 8, then 3rd round take the top 4, then the winner from that game is the champion. If there is more than 16 people, then add another round for the top 16.
What's the process of running an unofficial tourney?
If you goto any tourney discussion, CS:S always comes up and the standard response is that hardware sponsors don't like lans with CS:S tourneys. There's even a group of people who don't come to this lan just because CS:S isn't considered for a tourney. So, apparently sponsors are more important than what people want to play. I don't see many people complaining about no Quake tourneys though.
I personally like to see a CS:S gun game tourney, the last big lan I went to had one and was pretty fun.
