What would you do if you could not get 50, 35 or even 10Megabit download speed on your home internet connection? What might happen to online game-play if ISPs and other telecom companies get to slow down your interweb experience and even charge you more for a speed you enjoy now?

I imagine game companies might be able to work out some kinda deal that would of course allow them to profit along with the telcos. If you think Steam or Origin is bad now, it could get worse. What do you think? Am I just blowing smoke?
