Call of Duty 4 "Banned from server admin"???

well i've got a completely legit copy of call of duty 4 like most people. but whenever i try to join MOST servers online, it will say "you have been BANNED by server admin." I am very angry at this. almost EVERY server says this. and i know this is not true. i have never been banned at all. like i said before, ive got a legit copy of the game. ive never tried to hack or anything like that with any profiles on cod4. ive tried creating another profile, doesnt work. re-entering cd key, doesnt work.not even a reformat works. NOTHING works. ive googled this but i have no solutions. theres probably about only 10 servers i can join other than that, it might even say "enforced ban for NightBlade {random numbers}"
if there is anyone that could know some type of solution, it would be greatly appreciated.
so yeah its pretty much impossible to get into a server under 10 minutes of searching.

edit: i forgot to say that this has happened from the day i bought CoD4.

Maybe a friend got your cd key and joined allot of servers using it and had hacks on and got you banned from allot of servers. It happens LOL

its possible. but then again i never gave out my cd key. id be really POed if someone did get my cd key. this means i have to find another cd key or buy ANOTHER copy of CoD4.

Does it say anyting about cdkey as why your banned?  This is a long shot but would it be based on profile name?  Try starting a new profile and see if the servers still ban you?  Can you make your router get an new IP address?  If so, change the IP first then use a different profile.

Could they get it from Key-Gens? I don't since I only play private servers.

its possible they could have got it from a keygen. but it never said anything about my cd key being in use. its like someone banned me from almost all servers. i have a screenshot of this on my xfire if you want to see it. you know, it could be punkbuster. maybe theres a way for them to renew my cd key.

I see many people have problems with punkbuster and the solutions was to force it to update.

tried that. i have pbsetup and i regularly update it. it up to date as of now.

Ah yes! I found the problem. Somehow the 1.7 patch was doing this to me. I'm using the 1.6 patch for right now.
