Also is this going to be a 20 dollar lan with no prizes or structure were they bring in some belley dancer that looks like a crack whore and claim its the best lan ever? Will they have network switches or expect us to bring them like last time?

Intersting. Its a Day of Defeat Source tourney with a orange map (like no textures) and the other tourney is a game to be chose at the lan were you can only die once single elemination. Maybe if they had more tournies listed and some actual sponsors I would be a bit more intersted.

Be carfull about who you sell to. I caught a story on another forum that when they did that deal for Left 4 Dead 1 some people were bragging on a forum how they bought it for 35 dollars from a friend and some guy that was mad at one of them reported them to Steam who banned their accounts for selling copies. They were able to contact steam and say "were sorry we didnt realize you could split the package and 4 people put 35 dollars in so they got unbanned" Not saying your going get banned but Im told that it was supsoe to be like you pay the whole price and actually GIFT it to your friends according to Steam.  But especially if you charge more and make a profit.

Ok, i happend to get a look at the game, its a port. You cant change your controlls. You get style 1 or 2, which is either wsad or the arrow keys. That upset me because I hate ctrl for sneak, its to far over in my opion. Moving the mouse to the left and right turns you but up and down does nothing so you cant look above you or at the ground which I didnt like either. Not sure if you have to wait to get a gun to look up and down. Definatly not worth a 30 dollar price tag after 2 years with ps2 graphics. I saulute Rockstar for putting out this Adults only copy but to late and to pricey for a bad port. Maybe Ill dig out my Xbox controller and see if i can bind the buttons to the controlls or something. Or put up with the controlls on the keyboard Im forced to use. (Ive dont see why you cant have a text file that says Controlls that you could edit to change that? Thats the big kicker that always upsets me, something so simple to fix IMO) Apparntly its Port week with the launch of Modern Ported Warfare 2 LOL

Monster is good. Ill be looking for the schedule. I just need to make sure there is some downtime to sleep a little during free play and that if we leave at 10am Sunday we won't miss anything. Thats assuming I cant get out of work Sunday at 5pm. Guess I better prepay

Is there a schedule with tournment times and raffle times to help plan when to be there? And what energy drinks are there that will be free? I thought I should ask if its Bawls or Redbull or if its something that is classified as energy drink like vault (which is a soda but still good) or some nasty stuff like redbull cola or something.

It was on sale for $2.49 on steam for 2 hours halloween, but now is back up to 20$. LOL 10$ at the store. but was a good deal on the game for 2 hours.

For those that played the demo, what'd you think?

It was basicly what Left 4 Dead 1 should of been. When I first started playing and saw basicy the same shotgun and Uzi you started with in L4d1 I was upset thinking great they are going shaft the player on weapons (left 4 dead had 6 weapons, thats awful. Pistol, 2 shotguns, uzi, m4, and m14). But it was nice to see they had a variety of new weapons, with about 4 shotguns total, 2 from the old game (pump and auto) then a chrome pump that im not sure if the damage is better but it has 8 rounds like other pump, and a 10 round Spas12. I didnt like that the melee weapon takes over your pistol slot, so i just keep with the pistol. The adrenline is junk in my opion and the defib paddles are nice to bring back a dead player instead of waiting to resuce them. They give you alot of nades and pills throught the map. I hope they still have even more weapons not in the demo and that it is much longer with diffrent objectives besides go here, and hit this button that makes zombies come at you for 5 minutes and then move on.

This Steam Community Thread on the topic of the Left 4 Dead 2 early demo access indicates the demo has been delayed and it looks like it's now due at 2:00 am EDT tomorrow. There are over 7000 comments in that thread, each one seemingly more irate than the last. Thanks Voodoo Extreme.

Go figure, they always F*** the releases up being on team, I remeber this for last time I waited for L4d 1 demo.
