Optimizing BF3

Any tips on making BF3 run more smoothly?  Since I am forced to run it through a browser based app courtesy of Origin it seems to really lag.  Any tips on optimizing it?

The browser part is just the Battlelog, which I like because you do not have to be in the game to see stats, friends, etc.  Which part is laggy to you the battlelog (browser part) or the actual game play?  The browser Battlelog will not affect your game play.

If game play, what graphics card do you have?  You may see a large increase in speed by forcing it to use DirectX9.

Maybe he's saying that having the browser open slows his PC down to the point where the game lags? If that's the case, your PC probably just isn't strong enough to properly run the game in the first place, honestly.
