Many thanks to Intel for providing such a nice raffle prize.  They are truly a top notch company.

I love my i7 system, and the only reason i wend that nice, was because i won 6GB of triple channel ram from mushkin at the LAN OC event last march. Talk about something to build a system around :-)

Thanks to Intel, yeah Jeff is a great guy.

Was good to see him at the last LAN. Had not seen him in a few years.

Thanks again for the Q9650. It's running in this PC, now. Looks like it'll clock up to around 3.5ghz with a Thermaright Ultra 120. By-the-way Jeff, it is multiplier unlocked.

Do they pack engineering samples in a retail box? It came with a nice hfs. I used it on the C2D that I took out of my computer and put in my son's. e7300 @3.6ghz.

ahh figured it was a tray processor if it didn't have the multiplier locked. If it was retail boxed then even better! Smiley
